Harendra Khurana

Harendra Khurana has been pursuing the study of music for the past 40 years. During the first 3 years of his career in Music, Harendra Khurana recorded many records for Music India. Harendra Khurana’s first Major Ghazal disc, “Pyar Ki Baatein” was released in 1984 and was on the Top Ten for the whole of the year. The following years saw the release of many more Ghazal Albums, like “Intezar” and “Aap Ke Paas”, all of which were highly acclaimed. This period also saw a tremendous shift from the Commercial to the Spiritual and Devotional. He released various bhajan albums such as Manjari, Sai Bhajans and also Ramayan, which is a 2-hour story rendition of the epic. Harendra Khurana has also performed all over India giving Ghazal and Bhajan Concerts and has also given shows to rapt audiences in most parts of U.S.A., U.K., S.E.Asia, Australia, E. Africa and also S. Africa. After going through the process of commercial music, he realized the power of sound as both a performer and a teacher. The awareness of the healing power of his voice, coupled with his compassion for the wellbeing of humanity inspired him to go deeper in his research in sound and its effects on wellness. This led him to initiate RESONANCE- an album, which uses the boundless power of the human voice along with bija mantras to heal and harmonize.
